The colonial-style building exuded charm, with small gardens and a terrace where we could unwind. the traditional Oaxacan food served at the on-site restaurant, El Andariego, was a highlight, especially the range of delicious moles. the rooms were beautifully decorated with handmade items, creating a cozy atmosphere that reflected the vibrant Mexican culture. The attentive staff made our stay even more enjoyable, offering recommendations for tours and local restaurants specializing in Almendrado, my favorite Oaxacan dish. the proximity to the Zocalo and cathedral was convenient, surrounded by galleries and restaurants yet peaceful enough for a good night's sleep. the peaceful atmosphere extended to the recreational facilities, including a hot tub and garden, adding to the relaxing experience. Exploring Oaxaca City was a treat, with the Benito Juarez Market and other nearby markets offering a vibrant mix of flavors, aromas, and colors. the hotel's central location on one of the city's main avenues made it easy to visit attractions like the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo, as well as museums showcasing Oaxacan culture. Overall, Hotel Boutique Parador San Miguel Oaxaca provided a perfect blend of comfort, authenticity, and convenience.
